Modding Kits for A168 & F-105W Series

Please note that one way or another, you have to attach a faceplate on the kit.

Because the original one is unremovable. Hence you cannot transplant that.

Unless you like the look of naked module. That is of course your right. 

And text on faceplate is without any branded logo.

FKM stands for Fluoroelastomer, which is a class of man-made rubber of great density but soft in touch. Our DAI-EL FKM rubber bands and many accompany accessory are specifically made by Daikin.

Able to offer exceptional resistance to wide range of industrial chemicals. Such as acids, oils, and fuels. With their strong carbon-fluorine bonds and low gas permeability, these materials are able to withstand harsh environments and maintain their integrity in low to high temperature conditions. Range from -45 °C to +204 °C.

Most importantly, resistance to oil and sweat in consumer grade product such as this. Soft, flexible, non-reactive materials which will not degrade in long term usage.

Attentions:

This product is only compatible for Casio 1572/3298 Modules.

As in, currently the Casio A168 Series and F-105W Series watches.

Hence, please check for the make and model thoroughly before purchasing.

Buttons are pre-installed by default, if you want to customize them as well.

Presented module is not included. Please use either original or SKXMOD caseback/module on the kit.

Same to the presented parts, it is only for your purchasing references. Not the actual product you will get.

Super-hard coating is limited on Silver and Black colored parts. Gold and Rose Gold parts are not.

Customization will take longer time than expected.

Depends on the difficulty, it will range from 1 to 2 working weeks till finishing.

Shipping label will be created first. Meanwhile, please be patient with the process. 

Lastly, except for quality issues, customized orders are not allowed to refund or return.

The harden surface only prevents daily minor bumps and scratches from forming.

Does not mean it can withstand impact, puncture, slashes or substantial force in similar form.

Also, because its unique properties, it will look a bit dimmer after long term using.

For its matte surface collecting dust during the wearing.

Same to the matte bracelet. Hope you can understand.

Please do not use excessive force onto bracelet screws.

If you encounter certain resistance during process of loosening.

Then please do not go further and strip the slot on top.

Instead, slightly warm up the links to dissolve adhesive inside.

Use push pin to nudge the other end of screws a bit by bit.

Only then to continue the screw loosen maneuver.


For extra set(s) of accessory, please purchase them through the menu. 

Unless customer stated otherwise, band buckle style will follow mid-case's.

(Mind that currently bronze with rubber combo came with matte black buckle)

The beeping volume will be weaken for the full metal enclosure.

Please purchase with discretion if you have concern of regards.

For bronze alternative:

Rubber band's buckle is default matte black when purchasing with bronze case.

Or other finishing/color as you requested, but do notified us before or at purchase.

Otherwise we will still match the band with default matte black buckle. 

Please avoid using chemical solution to accelerate patina forming and removing.

For it might deform or corrode the gaskets within buttons under accidental or improper procedures.

Or further more, ruining the bronze material permanently.

And in such sitaution, we are not responsible for the product's after-sales service.

For possible patina formed during transportation.

You may try using coke or ketchup to let the case fully submerge.

Till the surface stain or marks are removed. Or to a degree you satisfied.

But don't forget sealing if off with installing caseback first.

Afterwards, wash off excess material under running water.

There is also a method using baking powder and lemon juice to create a paste.

Then use a toothbrush to brush off any patina you don't want.

To have a fresh start to cultivate new patina at any given moment.

Mind that this is not a defect, patina is a natural reaction for this particular case material. 

And if you are worried or does not like the effect, please do not purchase.

Because it WILL have patina forming one way or another at certain point.

Note that this modding kit is not designed for "hydro mod".

Meaning, filling the inside of the case with silicone oil or other substance.

To create better viewing angle and water resistance performance.

With mentioned substance meets gasket it could deteriorates faster.

For much frequent you will need to change the gasket.

Or worse, that the gasket cannot properly function anymore. 

Therefore creates leaking point from broken gasket.

Having your watch damaged beyond repair. 

Please perform such modification at your own risk.
